So we are officially going to have to be Ute fans since we will be transferring to the University of Utah. We are really sad to not be going back to see all our friends, but are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead of us. We have been searching for apartments and have been so busy:) This will be the 6th place we have lived in 5 years yeah for us ha ha:) Maybe we will actually get to stay in an apartment for more than a year which will be a new experience for us.

FAMILY FUN

We had a great weekend in Island Park. We went up to my brother-in-laws cabin and spent the weekend with my family (well most of them). We left on Thursday and got home on SundayThe boys got to go fishing every morning and caught several fish. We went to Yellowstone and got to see Old Faithfull and the hot spots. We also saw a buffalo, elk, a bald eagle, and a fox. We also got to go see this really cool bear and wolf place in West Yellowstone that was my favorite because the bears were huge and they were so close to us. It was so awesome. Brooks favorite part of the trip was when my little sister went fishing with the boys one day and hooked Jim (my brother-in-law) in the ear (sorry Rachel it was too funny). The hook went all the way through his ear and it was dangling from his ear like an Elton John ear ring. My dad had to cut it and then pull it out his ear. Besides that, it was super fun. Will and Halle's favorite part was riding the lawn mover train around the cabin and down to the lake. We got to relax, play cards, and just hang out. Thanks Jim for letting us come up. Here are a few pictures from the weekend. Sorry about the picture overload:)

GOOD OLD MEMORIES!!

My friend Megan had this on her blog, and I thought it would be fun to do. Don't be shy and play along!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember (it can be about me or Brooks or both)!
--Remember parents, friends, grandparents, and siblings read this (so keep it G-rated!!).

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Will said the cutest thing yesterday. He watches this cartoon channel that advertises for this pancake puff thing that is a baking thing that can make pancakes and muffins and eggs and he always says he wants it for his next birthday. He always tells me what they say you can make with it. Yesterday he said to brooks "dad are you 18 years or are you older so we can order that?" We laughed so hard and thought it was so cute. He can always finds like 20 things he thinks are cool on the cartoon commercials.

Fun Filled Weekend

Being silly heads.
Brooks and Will on the big train ride.
Mom and Hal on the train.

We had such a fun weekend. It all started with my mom, dad, and sister came down and we got to hang out with them for a little while and go to the playplace. Then, on Friday night Brooks' dad took us to a Bee's game. We all loved it. We sat on the grass so the kids could run around and play. They ran up and down the hill a thousand times. Every time music would come on they would start break dancing. Will was pulling out some pretty interesting moves. One move looked like a Vistaun (Sky View people know what I am talking about) move because he clapped his hands on his side. I think he got that one from his dad. Towards the end of the game he threw a soccer ball over the fence onto the field. We actually ended up getting it back after the game. They kept hitting home runs the whole game so it made it a little more exciting than usual:) We took the kids on a mini train ride (I emphasize mini because we stood in line for 45 minutes for a 3 minute ride)! They also got to play on the little playground they have when they of course got restless. Brooks got to eat a good old hot dog and we just had a lot of fun!! Then, on Saturday we went to IKEA with my brother and his wife and their cute baby. I had never been there and of course found like 10 things I couldn't live without. Those of you that have gone shopping with me know that I talk myself out of everything and ended up leaving with nothing:) (I am definitely going back though!) It was a lot of fun to hang out and of course Brooks had another hot dog there. Finally, today we went to Silver Lake up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was so pretty and nice. We walked around the lake and Will kept asking if he could go fishing. I guess we should have brought a pole for him.

Will looks a little scary in some of these, but still cute. You can tell he really loves pictures:)

FISH FOR 2!

Last week Darlene bought the kids a fish tank and 2 fishes to go in it. We were at the store and they were picking out their fish and Brooks asked the kids what they were going to name their fish and Will says Shreky and then he went and asked Halle what she wanted to name her fish and she says "um Nemo". It was so cute. She didn't even hesitate. It was even cuter that they wanted to name the black fish Nemo and the orange fish Shreky. I personally liked the fish tank the best with the matching orange rocks and tank. I am happy to say the fish are still alive, which we weren't sure if we were going to be able to say that a whole week later.

Halle put these glasses she found on and said I'm Peter Parker, but she says her R's as A's. So it sounds like Petea Parkea. It is so cute. I have to tell some people what she says because they can't understand her R's. Hopefully she will never need glasses that are that big on her:) She has been saying the cutest things lately. She walks around saying Care Bears stare! like what the Care Bears say on the show. She also will start singing a song just out of the blue. The other day she started singing the smiling song(I can't remember the name) if you chance to meet a frown do not let it stay -- that one. I love when she sings because she has the sweetest soft voice right now and I never want it to change. This is such a fun age with my kids! They are so interactive and like to play games and just have fun.
