Happy moment!!

This picture has nothing to do with this post I just thought it was cute:)! Will was asked 2 weeks ago to give the scripture and prayer in primary and he wasn't shy at all like we thought he would be. So, yesterday we were sitting in testimony meeting and Will says I want to go up there and say the prayer meaning he wanted to go up and say his testimony in the microphone. So, he and Brooks went up (I made Brooks take him) and when he got to the microphone he grabbed it and said I would like to bear my testimony. It was the cutest and one of the most happy moments of my life so far. After that Brooks had to tell him in his ear and he said I am thankful for my family and said especially my dad and everyone started laughing. It was pretty funny. We were so proud of him for wanting to do that. Sometimes you think your kids aren't paying attention or aren't getting anything out of church but they are and it is nice to see that. Since going to primary he has really enjoyed being there and has learned a lot and I love it. He comes home and tells me everything his teacher says. He even said my teacher wouldn't let me say the prayer and I had to explain to him that other kids need to say it too sometimes. What a big cute boy I have:)!

I took Halle and Will into a glasses store today and it was a absolute nightmare! By the time we left I wanted to pull my hair out. I realize Halle is only 2 and is definitly at the terrible 2 stage, but today was extra bad. She ran aound the store the entire time grabbing glasses and trying them on then she would pull all the price tags off the glasses and their cases. It was great! It was totally my fault because I should have brought the stroller even though she would have only sat in there for 2 minutes. After that we went into Sports Authority and we let the kids run around and play with all the sports equiptment. The first thing she did was grab those croc shoes and take off her boots and put those on and then she found a baseball helmet and threw off her hat and was walking around like it was a hat. Will found a baseball mit and bat and was pitching the ball in one of those net things. It was great fun. We had to pull Will away from the golfing green thing. (Sorry I don't know all the technical terms for all the sports stuff)! Will is great in stores until it is time to go and Halle is just a monster in stores so that is never a good thing:). Good thing I love my kids and can appreciate how old they are and that I will miss the days when they are leaving the store looking like a tornado hit:)!

Funny kid stories!

Okay, so Will said the funniest thing the other day so I had to tell you all. As some of you know Will tends to call us Laura and Brooks instead of mom and dad and the other day Brooks said Will you have to call me dad and Will said well if I call you dad then you have to call me Tiko. We couldn't stop laughing. So he made us call him Tiko the rest of the night. We still aren't really sure where Tiko came from but I think I like it! Halle has been so cute lately. My mom gave my kids 101 Dalmations for Halle's birthday and it came wiht a CD that the kids make us listen to whenever we are driving and Halle loves the song about Cruella DeVille and she has learned all the words and will walk around the house singing it and I think it is so cute. I love kids singing it is like my favorite thing!

Hot stuff!!

Halle trying on my earings. She thought she was pretty hot stuff. She wanted to keep them on all day but I was worried they would get caught on something and hurt her so we had to take them out. I thought she looked pretty funny in them. It looks kind of funny with her hair so short and the big earings. Oh well maybe in 15 years we can try it again!

EASTER EGG HUNT!!

We took the kids to a Easter egg hunt today and it was quite an adventure. I love this age with my kids because Will totally knows what is going on and they are so excited for the Easter bunny to come. I was working last night and I could here Brooks trying to get the kids to bed and he kept saying the Easter bunny isn't going to come unless your in bed and then I didn't hear them anymore so I asumed the threatening had worked. It was such a good day for the egg hunt. When we got there Will couldn't wait to start getting eggs in his basket. They made the kids wait and Will just kept running out to try and get eggs before it started. I had to keep saying it isn't time yet. It wasn't that good of one though. They were just laying on the grass but they still had fun.

Silly Head!

Halle thinks it is fun to climb in Brooks' backpack and ride around. Today she wanted him to spin her around in it. After she was done she was walking around saying I'm sick and was holding her head. I think we won't do that again. I hate spinning it gives me a headache and makes me nauseous. I thought she looked so funny so I had to catch it and blog it! What a silly girl I have!!

Posing time!

My kids have been so funny lately and have been acting so old. Now when Halle does a trick she says I'm funny! She totally skipped saying single words and just jumped to sentences. Then, Will was standing on the toilet looking in the mirror and I said what are you doing and he said I am looking for dance moves. I was like what?? Not sure where that came from either, but it was sooo hilarious. Will is definitely my photogenic child. Halle doesn't like to smile for the camera. She tries to frown when I say smile, but not my Will. He is always ready for a picture. He must take after his dad. What silly heads I have but they sure make me smile:-)!!

P.S.-By the way I am looking to buy a double jogging stroller and wondering if anyone knows of any good sites to get them??
