Cute weekend pictures
We had a birthday party for Brooks' dad this weekend and most of Brooks siblings came down. The kids had so much fun playing together. Will played with Ethan all day in the pool without any fights (pretty impressive I know). Halle was so good. She was so quite. I kept wondering if something was wrong with her because she didn't not make a sound all weekend except when she walked around singing "shake your buma shake you buma" it was so cute. I think they played in water all weekend except for yesterday. They got a Spiderman Slip n' Slide that Will loved. He couldn't quite figure it out at first, so Brooks ended up pull him all the way down the slide. He loved it still. It was so hot so I am glad there was water for them to play in. Here are some cute pictures I got of my cute kiddies!!

You Are Mulan!
Which Disney Princess Are You?
You Are Mulan!
Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.

Brooks' dad had this swimming pool already when we moved in and we have gotten good use of it. My kids have been out everyday when it is good weather to play in it. They love the water even though it is freezing water. We just go outside and I can just watch them play and relax and it is so nice. They look so cute in their swimsuits.
When we moved in Halle found all these rubber bands in a draw and has seriously not taken them off since. She has like 30 newspaper rubber bands on each hand. She has seperated the colors and them on different hands. It is so cute, but kind of odd. She calls them her bracelets. Don't think I haven't tried to get her to wear regular cute braclets because I have. She chooses to wear these lovely bracelets. Maybe I will have to try 30 real bracelets on each hand:)

And here she is....
She is soooo beautiful. She has lots of black hair and the prettiest skin. Her name is Persephone but it is said per-se-fony they are going to call her Percy. I will have to pronounce it for all of you later. I just love her already. They seem so happy. They put in there adoption papers in August and are so lucky to already have a baby. I know a lot of people were praying for them and that is why they were lucky enough to get her so soon:) I am so excited for them and I know she will be such a blessing to them forever! Congrats again Gabe and Wendy!!

NEW BABY!!
We finally have a cousin on my side of the family and we are soooo excited about it. My brother had the opportunity to adopt a baby this week. They received a call about a month ago saying that a mother had choose them. They were so excited, but a little nervous because these things don't always work out. So, they waited and waited and then they pushed her due date back even more so they had more waiting. Then, on Thursday they received a call saying that the mother was going into labor and to head to the hospital. So, they did. Then they continued to wait. Then they finally got to see their baby. She signed the papers and they were able to take her home on Friday night. I am so happy. I have been hoping and praying they would be able to get a baby for a long time and am so grateful it has finally happened for them. She is so pretty. I am so dumb. I forgot my camera at home so I am waiting for my mom to send me her copies of the pictures so that I can post some. She has black hair and she is tiny(6 pounds)! I love her already and could not be happier for my brother and his wife:) YEAH!!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY Part 2!!
I also wanted to give a shout out to my other favorite dad which is Brooks. he is the best dad to Will and Halle. He works so hard at everything he does. He is the first one to help me out with the kids and is always willing to do what I need to get things done.
5 things I love about Brooks:
1. He is a better parent than me. He is always ready to play guys with him and comes up with the most creative games to keep him entertained.
2. He is so generous with everything he has.
3. He makes me laugh more than anyone ever has.
4. He will talk you to death. If there is a problem he will talk about until 3 hours after it has been resolved:) I always say I will be the parent that puts them in time out and he is the one that talks through everything.
5. He is a worthy priesthood holder and is the hardest worker and I know he would do anything for me and for our kids. He is always helping other people out and is always thinking of ways to serve others.
Most of all I love him because I get to spend forever with him and I couldn't be happier about it:) Thanks babe for all you do!!! We love you and hope you have a great day!!!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!
I just wanted to give a shout out to my dad on Father's Day. I love him so much and am so happy that he is my dad. He has always done anything for me and I know that he would still do anything for me. He works so hard and I appreciate him so much. He is such a great example to me.
5 Things I love about my dad:
1. When I ride in the car with him my blood pressure goes up so high because he is a crazy driver.
2. He used to braid my hair for me and was so good at it that it would give me and my sister a headache because it was so tight.
3. He does whatever my kids say even if he doesn't want to.
4. He has a tender heart and cries as easy as I do.
5. He is such a hard worker and is always working whether it is at his job or at home on jobs my mom gives him:)
Love you DAD! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

These are just some fun pictures playing in the backyard. Will got a bug catching net and Halle decided to wear in on her head. Then, we turned on the sprinklers and they ran around and tried to spray me with water. Will really likes playing baseball and he is actually pretty good so we have been practicing in the backyard. He wants to sign up for some T-ball. I can't wait to sign him up and be able to go watch him. He really needs some soccer to get his energy out. Halle is a little cold in that picture probably because it was like 50 outside! What crazy kids I have:)

Summer so far!
Once again I have been a bad blogger lately, but I haven't been in the mood. So,I will tell you a few things we have been up to. Living at Brooks' dad's house has actually worked out really great so far. We are loving Salt Lake. I hope they will continue to be able to stand us through the summer. Will got so many new toys for his birthday that I am not quite sure how we are going to get them back to Spokane. He got a sweet Spiderman bike that he loves and of course his "guys" as he calls them (Spiderman, Hulk, superman etc.). He got one of those V-smile toys and he calls it a he-smile. It is so funny. I tell him what it is every time, but he insists on calling it that. Halle is getting so big. She repeats everything we say. I love her sweet voice and I hope it never changes. Brooks is really enjoying his internship. He does a ton of interesting things. He gets to observe a ton of cases and goes to different detention centers to meet with other Judges. He got to go with the Parole officers last week and he thought that was really interesting. He came home from work and decided to mow the lawn for his dad, but he didn't have any old shoes to do it in so his dad found an old pair for him and this is the outfit that came out of it. Pretty sweet I know:) Today, I got to go get a pedicure with my mother-in-law and then we went and then we all went and ate at the Mayan. Halle loved it soooo much. She was so serious about it. She didn't stop watching the divers. It was so cute. We went to Logan for Will's birthday, but we stayed this weekend (too much to get done:( We are having so much in Utah and I hope it goes by really slow:)
SWEET SHOES+SOCKS:)
