Happy moment!!

This picture has nothing to do with this post I just thought it was cute:)! Will was asked 2 weeks ago to give the scripture and prayer in primary and he wasn't shy at all like we thought he would be. So, yesterday we were sitting in testimony meeting and Will says I want to go up there and say the prayer meaning he wanted to go up and say his testimony in the microphone. So, he and Brooks went up (I made Brooks take him) and when he got to the microphone he grabbed it and said I would like to bear my testimony. It was the cutest and one of the most happy moments of my life so far. After that Brooks had to tell him in his ear and he said I am thankful for my family and said especially my dad and everyone started laughing. It was pretty funny. We were so proud of him for wanting to do that. Sometimes you think your kids aren't paying attention or aren't getting anything out of church but they are and it is nice to see that. Since going to primary he has really enjoyed being there and has learned a lot and I love it. He comes home and tells me everything his teacher says. He even said my teacher wouldn't let me say the prayer and I had to explain to him that other kids need to say it too sometimes. What a big cute boy I have:)!

I took Halle and Will into a glasses store today and it was a absolute nightmare! By the time we left I wanted to pull my hair out. I realize Halle is only 2 and is definitly at the terrible 2 stage, but today was extra bad. She ran aound the store the entire time grabbing glasses and trying them on then she would pull all the price tags off the glasses and their cases. It was great! It was totally my fault because I should have brought the stroller even though she would have only sat in there for 2 minutes. After that we went into Sports Authority and we let the kids run around and play with all the sports equiptment. The first thing she did was grab those croc shoes and take off her boots and put those on and then she found a baseball helmet and threw off her hat and was walking around like it was a hat. Will found a baseball mit and bat and was pitching the ball in one of those net things. It was great fun. We had to pull Will away from the golfing green thing. (Sorry I don't know all the technical terms for all the sports stuff)! Will is great in stores until it is time to go and Halle is just a monster in stores so that is never a good thing:). Good thing I love my kids and can appreciate how old they are and that I will miss the days when they are leaving the store looking like a tornado hit:)!

Funny kid stories!

Okay, so Will said the funniest thing the other day so I had to tell you all. As some of you know Will tends to call us Laura and Brooks instead of mom and dad and the other day Brooks said Will you have to call me dad and Will said well if I call you dad then you have to call me Tiko. We couldn't stop laughing. So he made us call him Tiko the rest of the night. We still aren't really sure where Tiko came from but I think I like it! Halle has been so cute lately. My mom gave my kids 101 Dalmations for Halle's birthday and it came wiht a CD that the kids make us listen to whenever we are driving and Halle loves the song about Cruella DeVille and she has learned all the words and will walk around the house singing it and I think it is so cute. I love kids singing it is like my favorite thing!

Hot stuff!!

Halle trying on my earings. She thought she was pretty hot stuff. She wanted to keep them on all day but I was worried they would get caught on something and hurt her so we had to take them out. I thought she looked pretty funny in them. It looks kind of funny with her hair so short and the big earings. Oh well maybe in 15 years we can try it again!

We took the kids to a Easter egg hunt today and it was quite an adventure. I love this age with my kids because Will totally knows what is going on and they are so excited for the Easter bunny to come. I was working last night and I could here Brooks trying to get the kids to bed and he kept saying the Easter bunny isn't going to come unless your in bed and then I didn't hear them anymore so I asumed the threatening had worked. It was such a good day for the egg hunt. When we got there Will couldn't wait to start getting eggs in his basket. They made the kids wait and Will just kept running out to try and get eggs before it started. I had to keep saying it isn't time yet. It wasn't that good of one though. They were just laying on the grass but they still had fun.

Silly Head!

Halle thinks it is fun to climb in Brooks' backpack and ride around. Today she wanted him to spin her around in it. After she was done she was walking around saying I'm sick and was holding her head. I think we won't do that again. I hate spinning it gives me a headache and makes me nauseous. I thought she looked so funny so I had to catch it and blog it! What a silly girl I have!!

Posing time!

My kids have been so funny lately and have been acting so old. Now when Halle does a trick she says I'm funny! She totally skipped saying single words and just jumped to sentences. Then, Will was standing on the toilet looking in the mirror and I said what are you doing and he said I am looking for dance moves. I was like what?? Not sure where that came from either, but it was sooo hilarious. Will is definitely my photogenic child. Halle doesn't like to smile for the camera. She tries to frown when I say smile, but not my Will. He is always ready for a picture. He must take after his dad. What silly heads I have but they sure make me smile:-)!!

P.S.-By the way I am looking to buy a double jogging stroller and wondering if anyone knows of any good sites to get them??

These are some pictures from the big day. We took Halle to Build a Bear workshop and let her make whatever bear she wanted and of course she choose the ugliest bear they have, but that is okay. She then choose to dress it like the Little Mermaid. It turned out pretty cute. She had so much fun and I think Will even had some fun himself.
Will trying to dress up in Halle's Snow White dress. Dad quickly put a stop to that. Like his tats?
Enjoying some left over frosting.
Halle loved to blow out the candles until she got a little close and it felt a little too warm. The finished product. The hair is a little much but she loved it. She was a little worn out by the end and done smiling.

I can't beleive my baby is 2 years old today. I feel like I just had her. We have been telling her it is her birthday and she has been singing happy birthday all week. I am so excited for her. I am really sad because I feel like my kids are growing up way too fast. I love Halle soooooo much and she has been such a blessing to our family. I have looooved having a girl and enjoying the differences between her and Will (he is absolutely wonderful too).

A few facts about Halle:
1. She loves to sing songs. Her favorite song is The Wheels on the Bus. She makes me sing the babies and mamas on the bus a thousand times in a row.

2. She loves loves loves her brother. She does everything he does and I mean everything! If he has a toy she needs it too. She follows him around and drives him crazy, but they are so good at playing together.

3. Her favorite toys are babies. Anything baby. She will be such a good mom one day because she loves her babies and treats them like real babies.

4. She loves food. She has never turned down any food. I guess that is something she got from me. That could explain the big belly she has:)!

5. She is potty trained! I had to get her started with it and then she decided she was ready and she got it done. WHAHOO no diapers (for a while)!!

5. She is queen of our house. She can get Brooks to do anything she wants. We both can't resist her cuteness.

6. She makes me sooooo happy. If I ever have a bad day I can just look at Halle and smile because she is always smiling back. She has never been a sad child. I love her sweet voice. There is just something about my little girl that just makes my heart melt. She has the sweetest voice ever and every time she says something it just reminds me that she came straight from heaven!! I love her to death and look forward to every year to come!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!!

Okay, so Will loves to make peanut butter, jelly, and carmel sandwichs. He likes to squeeze the jelly out and spread the peanut butter on then top it off with some carmel sauce. I don't know where he got the carmel thing but it sounds like it might be good. Needless to say, the sandwich was a little heavy on the jelly but he said it was good. So, I told him I was going to take some pictures to put on the blog and this is what I got. He is such a poser like his dad. He had a different pose for every picture. What cute kiddies:)!

More picture of my kids. I think that is all I take pictures of these days. I am pretty boring and I like pictures of them. So, I guess I will think of something more exciting to post pictures of. Until then, I think they are cute so oh well. The kids have been really excited about playing outside and they finally convinced me to take them out to ride bikes. We had a fun time even though there is still some snow on the ground.

We have had such nice weather lately. This is Halle's new favorite thing to do. She goes out on our porch and hangs out. She just sits in her camping chair. The other day we all went out and sat on the porch and it was so nice. Will is going to definitely get a tan dressing like that. Silly boy! I hope the weather keeps up.

I forgot that I had taken these cute pictures of my kids in the hotel we stayed at in Seattle. I liked the wall paper it was an argyle print. I thought this was a cute picture of them together. They are silly heads! They were so excited to be there. Will still wants to go back.

My kids are definitely ready for summer. Halle loves water and I can't wait to take her swimming. They love to get their swimsuits on and get in the tub and pretend they are swimming. I guess we better go swimming a lot this summer. YEAH!!
