My friend Angie took this cute picture at our BBQ the other night. I thought it turned out really cute. Thanks Angie:) It makes my kids look so old. I can't believe they are as old as they are. I feel like I just had them. They are such good friends now (most of the time) and I love it.

Bad Blogger

I have been such a bad blogger lately. We have been so busy and my posts are few and far between. With Brooks getting ready for finals and us just going all the time I have hardly had time to do anything. We went to a fun little BBQ-thing last night with some friends and then tonight I went to a recipe exchange. We took a group picture of some of our friends tonight at the recipe exchange. There seems like there is a ton of kids and that is probably because there is a ton of kids (and that isn't even all of them). They have fun together. I am really going to miss all my friends this summer. We have made some really good friends while we have been here. On the other hand I am really excited to see family. It seems like it has been so long since we have seen anyone and I am really looking forward to it. The countdown has begun! We will be home soon:) Oh and I will try to be better with my posts!

Halle was watching a movie in the bedroom and started yelling and almost crying and we ran in there and there was a scary part in the previews where there was lightening and she was crying. She was scared and that was so SAD. I thought it was kind of cute though. Lately she has been saying oh man. She will do something and then after she says OH MAN. I love when my kids say cute things!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!!

Today is my sister Jen's birthday. I just wanted to tell her how much we love her:) I hope she has a good birthday and does something really fun. She is so nice and one of the most generous people I know. WE LOVE YOU! Have a great day!!

TRIP TO THE DENTIST

Will and Halle went to the dentist yesterday. The office we went to was great. It had great toys and movies on. I was so surprised when my kids actually did good. First Will hopped up on the chair and watched the movie in the ceiling. He got a little nervous when the assistant came to clean his teeth. He didn't go for that. So, the dentist came and took a look at his teeth and put some fluoride on them. He seemed to really like the dentist. He got a cool new tooth brush, floss, a sticker, and a pencil. Sadly he had one SMALL cavity. I was so sad :( So now we have to go back for another visit so they can put that white filling stuff on it. It is amazing to me how far they have come in the world of dentistry since I was a young one. They are going to have us come back in for a practice visit before the actual filling, kind of weird if you ask me. We don't really know what that is all about. Halle didn't have any cavities so that was good. I was so proud of my kids being so good at the dentist. I hope every time goes this good (minus the cavity) :) Our apartments finally put up the playground outside and I think we have been out there everyday since even on the cold days. Halle LOVES it. Everyday she says playground. It is nice to just walk outside and have our playground right there. Good entertainment!

Science experiment

Will saw this experiment on pbs and wanted to try it. So we thought okay a science experiment. We got play dough and made a volcano. He ended up using almost all of the baking soda and vinegar I had, but he thought it was so cool :). He does some pretty funny stuff sometimes. Like today we went somewhere and when I looked down Will was limping(a side note: I always have Will put his own shoes and socks on and sometimes it is a bit interesting) and I noticed he had two different shoes on. He had 1 snow boot from this year and 1 from last year. I told him he needed to wear the new boots because the old blue ones were too small and were making his feet hurt and he says but the blue ones are so cool :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!!!

Halle loves those crocs shoes. Every time we go in a store she finds some and puts them on and walks around the store. I am not willing to pay $30 for the actual ones so I have been looking for some really cute ones and when we were in Walmart we found some for $5. Well she put them on in the store and wouldn't take them off the rest of the day or the next day or the next. She would just look at them. It was really cute.

Good Weekend

We had such a great weekend watching conference and just enjoying being home and relaxing. I loved this conference I thought it was so good. I always look forward to conference weekend because first of all we get to have church at home and second because it is always really uplifting. So many talks seemed to be just for me. I thought President Monson was so funny. After watching conference on Sunday we decided to go fly a kite. We got the kite from a Easter egg hunt and the weather has been so difficult so we are just getting around to flying it. It is perfect to fly kites here because the wind seems to always be blowing. We just threw the kite in the air and then let Will run and it was flying in no time. He had so much fun. While Will was flying the kite we see Halle take off running through the field and Brooks starts chasing after her because she is headed right for the road. It took him a while :) but when he finally catches up with her he asks her where she is going and she says to the playplace. It was right across the street and she was going to run there. Silly girl!

Okay, so I finally bought a jogging stroller after researching all over the internet and every store I could find. I love it and am so excited to use it. After we got it and I put it together the kids wouldn't stop sitting in it. As you can see it was a little cold when we went running today so we used a hundred blankets. We are so happy:)

Chucky Cheese Fun!

So, we went to Chucky Cheese today with our friend Ashlee and had so much fun. I of course forgot my camera not that I could have taken pictures because there was a million people there. It was Spring break here and apparently everyone had the same idea as we did on Wednesday. Will and Halle had so much fun though. I told Will that we would be going and he was talking about it all week and now he is already bugging me about the next time we can go. Halle just ran around to all the games and pretended she was playing them so I didn't waste hardly any money on her. Will wanted to ride all the rides and play all the games so we did. My kids kept sitting on the carousel ride and people kept coming and putting tokens in and so they kept riding for free and nobody said anything so they kept riding. Halle loved seeing the actual Chucky Cheese man and she kept trying to give him five. I had to literally force Will to leave and promise a next visit. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back again. Hopefully next time less people because less crowd = more fun:)!

Will keeps saying lets work out and then he puts this cool outfit on. Then of course Halle follows with something of her own.
